Ira Pastor – Pharmacist to Entrepreneur
Ira grew up in the Philadelphia area and was a pharmacist by training. He then pursued a degree in business. Ira’s entrepreneur training dates back to his father, a naval shipman in WW2. His father was also a pharmacist by trade and built a successful community pharmacy. At an early age, Ira saw his father’s determination and work ethic during the depression. Additionally, his dad’s military background was an important factor for instilling these characteristics.
Passion of Regenerating, Repairing and Healing
As Ira grew up in the family pharmacy business, he knew early on that he would be a pharmacist. He worked side by side with his father and eventually evolved to the next phase-big biotech questions. Ira was missing the entrepreneurial spirited angle and needed something more tangible so he jumped into a smaller biotech. Bioquark and 3 R’s.
