November News: Global Entrepreneurship Week

Global Entrepreneurship Week is a celebration of the innovators and job creators who launch startups that bring ideas to life, drive economic growth and expand human welfare. During one week each November, GEW inspires people everywhere through local, national and global activities designed to help them explore their potential as self-starters and innovators.

Worldwide, more than 165 countries celebrate Global Entrepreneurship events.

This year, Veteran on the Move will be at the Kansas City Global Entrepreneurship event from November 13^th through the 17^th. We invite you to follow us on Facebook to get an inside look at the festivities!

Tell Me More About Global Entrepreneurship Week!

This event boasts more than 150 activities with a focus on education, networking, and collaborative opportunities.

For “Makers & Creators” – there are a wide variety of workshops for inventors, brewers, distillers, bakers, or craft-centric business. From prototypes to patents, tech opportunities, and more – innovators from a variety of industries will be on hand to offer insight and inspiration.

For those focused on general business growth, there will be opportunities for those who have survived the startup phase and are wondering “What’s Next?”

A particularly exciting welcome segment to this year’s Global Entrepreneurship Week event involves a series of activities and workshops promoting youth entrepreneurship.

How Can I Participate?

Global Entrepreneurship Week is not one single event.  It is tens of thousands of events, activities and competitions happening in more than 160 countries and a variety of cities. To find something happening near you, visit the FIND EVENTS page for the organization.
