Get in Touch with Your Artistic Side with Marine Veteran Joey Williams Founder of EVAC
98: Joey Williams opens up about his struggles with the Veterans Administration after a serious injury and his quest to get back on track after a long fight with prescription pain medications. Joey got involved in art as a form of therapy and discovered that other veterans were in need of services to help them explore their artistic abilities. Joey Williams is a former Sergeant in the Marine Corps, now artist, and CEO and founder of The Endowment for Veterans’ Art Campaign and the non-profit Operation: Art. Since leaving the Marine Corps, Joe has found new purpose in helping veterans achieve their aspirations in art by helping provide resources and services to those in need. Whether that be to use art as a means of self-therapy or for more professional practices.
