This week Joe is joined by Marine Veteran and entrepreneur Matt DeMaio. Matt is the founder of Condition One, a nutrition company dedicated to providing customers a quality high-protein nutrition bar. Matt saw the need for a high-quality, portable nutrition bar serving in the Marines and pursued his idea following his transition into the civilian workplace. Matt began working on Condition One part time while working at a technology startup but made the move to pursue his business full time. Condition One separates itself from the competition by selling directly to consumers freshly baked bars. Matt and Joe discuss the details of starting a business in the health and wellness marketplace and the challenges Matt overcame to build the successful business he has today.
