This episode of Veteran On the Move features Joe Crane interviewing Air Force veteran and International Franchise Association (IFA) 2023 Franchisee of the Year, Nick Lambie. Nick, a weapons director with 9 years of active duty and ongoing service in the Air National Guard, was drawn to entrepreneurship for the freedom and challenge of being his own boss. Believing his leadership and mission-oriented skills translated well to franchising, Nick planned his transition from active duty to open a Ziebart store. Ziebart, a vehicle protection company offering interior and exterior car care products, appealed to Nick partly due to their waived franchise fee for veterans. In the interview, Nick discusses how his business has thrived with the support of the Ziebart franchise network.
