In this episode, Joe is joined by Army and Marine Corps Veteran, Karla Dembik. Karla served on Active Duty for fourteen years; beginning in the Marines and later commissioning in the Army, serving as an intelligence officer and as a helicopter pilot. She transitioned into the corporate sector working in the financial tech and banking industries. This is where she saw the need to help small business owners with the high credit card processing fees; allowing them to put more money back into their business and increase profit. Through her business,  Phoenix Pay Processing, Karla found purpose in serving others, much like she did while serving in the military. Karla shares her advice for Veterans looking to overcome the challenges of transitioning and take on the blindspots that come with starting your own business.
